About Kerry Cassill

Home and fashion designer, Kerry Cassill has created a remarkable and recognizable collection with an Indian influenced design. Forever fascinated with textiles, Cassill started as a designer and owned a hat shop in Seattle. Traveling as a means of inspiration, she discovered Indian prints all over Paris in 1990, which led her to India and the creation of the Kerry Cassill line.

The paisley emblem used on the tag of all Cassill's work is a symbol that represents learning and is pronounced, ironically, Kerry in the Hindi language. Cassill learned and worked early on with great colorists; textile designer Bridgit Singh and painter Vincent Farrell. These influences are evident in the artful coordination of colors, patterns, and designs produced seasonally by Cassill.
